Your art is yours
MadeThese is a home for your work, not a claim on it. Here’s what we promise, in plain words. These promises are part of our Terms.
- 01
You own it.
Everything you upload stays yours — every right, always. We only get the permission we need to run your site the way you choose.
- 02
We never sell your art.
Not the pictures, not the details, not to anyone.
- 03
We never use it to train AI for anyone else.
No other artist’s helper learns from your work, and we never sell or give it to anyone to train AI.
- 04
The helper learns only for you.
When you fix a guess, your helper remembers — for your archive, and nobody else’s.
- 05
Your originals stay private.
Only you can see your original files, unless you choose to let people download them.
- 06
You choose who sees each piece.
Everyone, signed-in visitors, members, the model in it, or only you. Change your mind any time.
- 07
You can leave, and take your work.
Download everything — every original and every detail — from Settings → Your archive, any time. Delete your account whenever you want.
How the AI helper learns
The AI helper suggests details for your work — the paper, the pose length, the date by your signature. You check them. You’re always the one who decides.
- When you correct it, it keeps notes for your archive (like “my red paper is LUX Ruby Red”) and a small model of your habits. Both are stored with your account, and used only for your work.
- To look at a picture, the helper sends a copy to OpenAI. That happens only when you use the helper, only for your own work. OpenAI’s rules for businesses say it doesn’t train its models on what we send.
- Finding look-alike pieces (like two photos of the same drawing) runs on our own servers. Those pictures don’t leave us.
- Nothing you teach your helper is shared with other artists, and we never sell or give your art to anyone to train AI.
Other people and your art
- Visitors can look at what you make public. If you let them download a piece, they get a copy — but not your copyright.
- Using art from MadeThese to train AI, or copying the site in bulk, is against our rules unless the artist says yes in writing.
- If someone copies your work onto MadeThese, use Report on the piece, or see Takedowns.
